Summary Intercalary Days The Nobenox ♈ The Nolstice ♋ The Sobenox ♎ The Solstice ♑

The 'Nolstice' ♋

A Contraction of 'Northern Solar Stasis'

(The Cancer♋ Solstice)

The UCC Uses 5 'Intercalary' (off calendar) days to balance the year. These are made up of:

1 'New Years Day' to mark the start of another spiral for earth around The Sun

PLUS

4 'New Season's Days' to mark each of the 4 major earth/solar events;

the 2 solstices and the 2 equinoxes which occur due to the tilt of the earth's axis

These 5 intercalary days when added to the 360 standard calendar days make the 365 Day Year

The UCC Year

UCC Year

The terms used in the UCC for the Solstices and Equinoxes have been chosen so that they are applicable wherever you are on the planet, irrespective of being in the Northern or Southern hemisphere

The 'Nolstice' is shown in the above graphic at the '12 o'clock' position

The Nolstice is celebrated by the 3rd Intercalary Day '2nd Season's Day' which is Day 93 of the UCC Year

This is shown by the '93' in the blue circle

"Nolstice" = Northern Solar Stasis

(The Cancer♋ Solstice)

This occurs when the Sun is at it's highest northerly point above the Celestial Equator

Directly above the 'Tropic of Cancer' ♋

Sun -'Nolstice'

The Sun at its Northern Solar Stasis on the ecliptic at it's highest point +23.5° DE intersecting with the 6 hrs RA line

This event is celebrated by 2nd Season's Day and usually also actually occurs some time during that day

So, this event also acts as a marker for the start of our 2nd Quarter Season:

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere & Winter in the Southern Hemisphere

It is also the first point of the astrological Sun Sign Cancer ♋

The 2 hours of RA from 4 hrs to 6 hrs correspond to the Zodiac Sun Sign Gemini, currently occupied by the Constellation Taurus due to the precession of the equinoxes over the course of the 'Great Year'

From 6hrs to 8hrs RA corresponds to the Zodiac Sun Sign Cancer, currently occupied by the Constellation Gemini due to precession

The Zodiac is shown here with Cancer ♋ at the bottom and Capricorn ♑ at the top - 180° opposite to the UCC Year graphic further up the page, but exactly the same cycle
