Summary Intercalary Days The Nobenox ♈ The Nolstice ♋ The Sobenox ♎ The Solstice ♑

The 'Sobenox' ♎

A Contraction of 'South Bound Equinox'

(The Libra♎ Equinox)

The UCC Uses 5 'Intercalary' (off calendar) days to balance the year. These are made up of:

1 'New Years Day' to mark the start of another spiral for earth around The Sun

PLUS

4 'New Season's Days' to mark each of the 4 major earth/solar events;

the 2 solstices and the 2 equinoxes which occur due to the tilt of the earth's axis

These 5 intercalary days when added to the 360 standard calendar days make the 365 Day Year

The UCC Year

UCC Year

The terms used in the UCC for the Solstices and Equinoxes have been chosen so that they are applicable wherever you are on the planet, irrespective of being in the Northern or Southern hemisphere

The 'Sobenox' is shown in the above graphic at the '9 o'clock' position

The Sobenox is celebrated by the 4th Intercalary Day '3rd Season's Day' which is Day 184 of the UCC Year

This is shown by the '184' in the blue circle

Sobenox = South Bound Equinox

(The Libra♎ Equinox)

Here, the Sun is crossing the celestial equator falling southwards in the sky

The Sun is at the First Point of Libra or its 'Descending Node' indicated by the symbol for Libra '♎'

 Sun - 'Sobenox'

The Sun falling south on the Ecliptic crosses the Celestial Equator (0° DE) at the intersection of the 12 hrs RA line

This event is celebrated by 3rd Season's Day but usually actually occurs 3 days later due to the Earth's elliptical orbit

So, this event also acts as a marker for the start of our 3rd Quarter Season:

Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere & Spring in the Southern Hemisphere

The 2 hours of RA from 10hrs to 12 hrs correspond to the Zodiac Sun Sign Virgo ♍ currently occupied by the Constellation Leo

The 2 hours RA from 12 hrs to 14 hrs correspond to the Sun Sign Libra ♎ occupied by the Constellation Virgo as you can see

The constellations are shifted due to the precession of the equinoxes over the course of the 'Great Year'

The Sun at 0° Libra ♎

The Sun ☉ at 0° ♎

The Zodiac is shown here with Cancer ♋ at the bottom and Capricorn ♑ at the top - 180° opposite to the UCC Year graphic further up the page, but exactly the same cycle
