The 'Astronomology' of SEVEN-Libra♎

The 7th Triad Month of the UCC Year

Starts on Day 185 of the Year

Date: 1st Libra♎ UCC [07.01]

(c21st September Gregorian)

Sun & Earth at SEVEN-Libra♎

After Day 184 of the UCC Year, the 4th of our 5 special Intercalary Days, which celebrates the 3rd Quarter Season and the 'Sobenox' (South Bound Equinox), we reach Day 185 and the 1st day of the 7th Triad (30 Day Month)

The Sun ☉ is approaching the 12 Hour Right Ascension line of astronomical measurement in the celestial sphere

Correspondingly then at this time the Earth ⊕ reaches the first point of Aries♈ in its spiral around the Sun

The Star Sign of Libra♎ in astrology corresponds to the 2 hours of Right Ascension from 12hrs to 14hrs - the 30° of the ecliptic from 180° to 210° - in astronomy

So, this "Astronomological" event means we can call our 7th Triad 'SEVEN-Libra♎' as it very closely aligns with the Astrological Star Sign ♎ AND its equivalent Astronomical sector of the sky (the Sun ☉ actually enters 0° of the Star Sign Libra♎ on the 3rd day of this Triad Month as you can see below)

It is also the first of the 3 Triads of our 3rd Quarter Season; Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, Spring in the Southern Hemisphere

SEVEN-Libra♎ comprises of the Decans (10 Day Weeks) 19, 20 & 21 and runs from Day 185 thru 214 of the Year as you can see in the excerpt below from the Gregorian Calendar Converter for the Year 13515

The Sun symbol '☉' in the graphic above indicates that the Sun ☉ enters the Star Sign Libra♎ at the Sobenox, early on Day 4 of the Sobenox Cardinal Festival of Libra [☉⊕♎] & Day 187 of the Year on 3rd Libra♎ showing how closely our UCC Triad Months align with their equivalent Astrological Star Signs

We can see the Astronomy of this time - about half way through the UCC Year - in the screen shot below from the package 'Stellarium'

Here we see the Sun on its ecliptic path (the red line) approaching the intersection of the 12 hour RA line and 0° Declination, the Celestial Equator

The Triad Month 'SEVEN-Libra♎' corresponds to the 2 hours of Right Ascension from 12hrs-14hrs.

[Right Ascension is measured Eastward (to the left in the pic) from the '1st Point of Aries' (♈), what I call the 'Nobenox', at 0 Hours RA, where the Sun's Ecliptic path intersects the Celestial Equator rising North]

This Astronomical section of the sky, and therefore our Triad Month of SEVEN-Libra♎ and the Astrological Star Sign '♎', are currently occupied by the Constellation 'Virgo' due to Precession

The Star Sign ♎ is named after the Constellation 'Libra' which it aligns with through one 'Age' (a roughly 2000 year period) during each 24,000 Year 'Great Year' cycle of Precession

We can see the Astrology of this 7th Triad Month '♎' in the screen shot below from Planet Watcher

Sobenox Astrology

The Sun ☉ enters The Star Sign Libra, shown at 0°♎, on 3rd Libra♎ UCC. This is also known as The '1st Point of Libra' (♎) in astronomy

The 3 day discrepancy is because the earth's orbit is elliptical rather than round and its axis is tilted which means that the orbit doesn't fit exactly within a circle

The Sun spends more time - 187 days - above the equator than it does below - 178 days - making the seasons slightly different in length

The UCC balances the Seasons via its 5 special intercalary days making them all exactly 90 days each, but the Sun actually spends a bit more time in Quarter 2 (Cancer, Leo & Virgo) than it does in Quarter 4 (Capricorn, Aquarius & Pisces) as it is further away from the earth during Quarter 2 due to the ellipse and therefore appears to travel slower in the sky making those months a little longer.

The slide below shows when the nearest and furthest points of the elliptical orbit occur
